We’ve not been able to watch any of the American Idol auditions yet, but we love, love, LOVE them. You just can’t script this kind of train wreck comedy. We don’t typically watch beyond the try-outs…they’re all pretty good by that point and the gawk-value has dissolved (though I’m not gonna lie – that 16 year old country boy from North Carolina? South Carolina? …he was at the Milwaukee try-outs…whatever – he’s the one I’m rooting for. I DIG HIM FO SHO!).
Anyway, tonight we’ve been playing catch up and enjoying every minute of it. So you know the ones that they spend extra time with doing extra interviews and background? No no – not those. The ones they spend extra time with that you just KNOW are going to be painful to watch – and yet…you must.
